ARABICA COFFEE POWDER

From the canyonlands of Meghalaya, Earthrise Organics brings you 100% pure wild Arabica Ground Filter Coffee Powder. This coffee powder is not your normal coffee. Sourced from the wilderness of Meghalaya, this coffee shares unique flavours such as the indistinguishable nuttiness and rich chocolatey undertone. Grown across six villages in Meghalaya, this coffee offers a different experience from the regular coffee you may find on the internet.

These Arabica beans are grown in Nongrynniang, a village located in Nongstoin of West Khasi Hills District in Meghalaya, India. It is situated 65km away from the district headquarter in Nongstoin.

These coffee beans are grown at an altitude of 4000ft or 1400 metres above sea level and the coffee beans are procured from one of our coffee partners Bah Daman.

As with most Arabica, this coffee also has a nutty flavour, with subtle hints of jaggery to it.

Processing of Arabica Coffee with Natural Dry Process

Also known as the dry process, natural processing is one of the oldest ways to process coffee. After picking the coffee cherries from the coffee trees, our partner coffee farmers spread out the pulps in thin layers to dry out in the sun.

The coffee is then being dispatched to our in-housed processing unit.

The coffee is stored in a room with a minimum temperature of 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.

The next process is hulling, the team hulls the coffee cherries using hulling machine.

After the hulling process the next step is sieving the beans, that is separating the beans and the outer skin of the beans (pulp). The beans are then sorted manually by hand to ensure that we give our customers the best-looking beans, thereby amplifying the overall wild coffee experience.

Finally, the coffee is packed in the pouches ready to be shipped to your home!

Tasty coffee in just three simple steps:

1. Place a paper filter or a muslin cloth place over a tea strainer and add 2 tablespoons of the ground coffee into it.

2. Pour hot water and and let the coffee brew at its own pace.

3. After filtering you can add more hot water to the brew if you prefer black coffee. Or you can add some milk to it if that's you like your coffee.

And you're done! Enjoy your perfect cup of wild coffee.

Note: Make sure you only open the container when needed as the coffee is prone to moisture every time you open the container.
